15 weeks spent in China over the last 2 years, and at home I was the only one to talk about this experience of China. We felt it was the time to share and to discover a part of China together. In March, during the school holidays, we all went to China, in Shanghai and Hangzhou, to enjoy China with a different angle...than work.
Thinking of this distanced, mysterious, unreachable China, discovering Shanghai full of life, smiling people and modernity. The highrise buildings, the speed, the exterior signs of wealth are here to remind everyone that the growth is around and it seems not to stop even if slowing down. One week is too short to know if it is good to live here, nevertheless everything is around to enjoy life.
As the favorite activity of the boys is to climb the highest buildings in the world, the highest skyscrappers of Shanghai needed to be part of the tour:
- the Financial World Trade Center with its 492m and an amazing skywalk at the 100th storey,
- the Oriental Pearl tower at 468m and its circular glass walk,
- and the Jin Mao Tower at 421m with the impresive atrium of the Grand Hyatt hotel.
We had the pleasure to go around the Yu Yuang Garden, the area of Xian Tian Di and Tiang Zin Fang where it is really a pleasure to stroll around...Surprising Shanghai!
15 semaines en Chine pendant ces 2 dernieres annees et j'etais le seul a la maison de parler de mes tribulations en Chine. Il etait temps de partager et vivre la Chine ensemble.
En Mars, pendant les vacances scolaires, Nous sommes donc alle en Chine, a Shanghai et Hangzhou pour decouvrir une Chine differente de celle que je connaissais pour le travail....
Une Semaine a Shanghai permet de decouvrir une Chine rieuse, aimable et au coeur du futur.
Les gratte-ciels, le rythme dans la ville, les signes exterieurs de richesse rappellent a chacun que la croissance n'est jamais tres loin meme si l'annee derniere, le developpement du pays a quelque peu ralenti.
Une semaine est trop courte pour savoir s'il fait bon y vivre, mais neanmoins aucun signe ne nous a montre que profiter de la vie n'etait pas possible a Shanghai.
Comme le sport favori de nos garcons est d'escalader les plus hauts buildings du monde, nous n'y avons pas pu y echapper a Shanghai: Le Financial World Trade Center avec ses 492m et son incroyable skywalk au 100 eme etage, la tour Oriental Pearl du haut de ses 468m avec son pont de verre, et la tour Jin Mao haute de 421m accueillant le Grand Hyatt hotel avec un hall de recaption a en avoir le vertige.
Il a fait bon arpenter le jardin Yu and que les quartiers Xian Tian Di et Tiang Zin Fang ou la tradition reprend ses droits....Surprenante Shanghai!
